Humbug Hat (Not actually a Scrooge)

Yes, for like 6 years I've had this "Bah Humbug" hat which I always whip out every Christmas. 2 years ago the actual 'ball' at the end of the hat got bitten off by my dog Jess, I was pretty annoyed, but luckily the mother sewed it back on; so it's survived! 

Just a note: I'm not actually a Scrooge, the hat is purely for comedy value only.

No idea why I'm posting an entry for this tbh.

My Very Young Self

Comparing baby photos of me and Soph and there is such amusement. Especially on my end, I look so different. Bald, big eyes, big head, and in this photo from 1991, me and my cousin are showing everyone how it's done to pose for a photo. Hahaha.

Looks as though I've loved the shirts and ties since back then to now!

Christmassy

The family went and got a Christmas tree today, I was asleep when this happened, not too fussed. We always put our decorations and tree up much later than everyone else; who seem to think Christmas starts early November.. far too early.

Feeling proper Christmassy now anyway, downloading/watching Christmas films, putting a Christmas playlist together for the iPod (fave crimbo songs are Shakin' Stevens' one and The Darkness' Christmas time, no other songs better to get me in the mood!)

Oh, and just to say, my 2 dogs have their own christmas stockings on the fireplace.. yeah. Definitely a dog family.

HEALED

Got the best news today, an all clear to go jogging again and strengthen the ankle up to play football!! So thrilled.

The ankle has been Mysteriously swollen for 7 weeks, and it's been a frustrating 7 weeks of the healing process, absolutely horrible. But I'm back and can't wait to play for Rocklands/go running/get my sweat on again! :)
